ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Medical Center Health System is canceling its appointments for booster shots at its clinics as it moves towards holding a drive-thru clinic at Ratliff Stadium.
The clinic will run from Tuesday, March 2 through Friday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
MCHS President and CEO Russell Tippin says the reason for the switch is because the winter weather kept the vaccine from being delivered.
If you received your first shot at Ratliff Stadium, you should not try to get your second shot in Midland or another location outside of Odessa. Those vaccination sites have doses that are already spoken for.
You will only need the white appointment card you received after your first shot to receive the second shot. You do not need to call to schedule an appointment.
